Summer, yardage and a Bee

I've been too quiet here lately. Been pulled in too many directions. But luckily I have been taking pictures…more or less…  So herewith a very visual post of things happening at AGOS.

Stars from the last meeting of our Quilting Bee.  We are a loosely organized group of quilters who gather every month or so and support each other with quilting mojo. This month's self-generated assignment was to make stars. Right now we're working on triangles.. You can join us if you like…  More HERE.

Other quilting related events- a panel discussion and book signing with Rachel May of Quilting With a Modern Slant, a fabulously inspiring book of quilts and quilters. We still have some signed copies for sale here if you want one.  Rachel was a doll as were the talented artists she brought with her- Jan Johnson, Danielle Krcmar and Alice Greer. And they were all so generous and talented...

We have officially gotten our yardage program for screen printing off the ground, with the first round of fabric coming of the table in the past couple of weeks.  And what fabric it has been!  Oh my, the possibilities make my head spin. We will have a week-long intensive for anyone who wants to dive into this process in August, details are HERE. Check out what's been made… Cool huh?

That's just a little peek at what's been going on around here.  Why don't you come down and join us?
