Giveaway winners!
Wow, you guys are great! We got 75 entries! Gale and I are gratified by your response. She is a pretty fabulous photographer, isn't she? Imagine how much you could learn from her…. For all of you who didn't win, there is still the option to register anyway and take the opportunity to learn from this delightful woman, while hanging at AGOS, a textile and fiber haven! You can read all about the workshops here.
Portland is cool small New England city. Easy to get to from anywhere on the East coast with an airport that is served by many carriers. We were named Foodiest Small City of the Year by Bon Appetit, with two James Beard award-winning chefs cooking here, a fleet of fabulous food trucks and some world class coffee roasters. We're right on the Casco Bay with easy, quick ferry rides out to the islands, and in 10 minutes you can be in the countryside. There are all sorts of lodgings available. If you are curious about where to stay, go to our Nitty Gritty page and scroll down to the Travel & Hotel Info link. By the end of June it's pretty bloody beautiful up here. So I hope some of you out-of-towners take the plunge and come hang with Gale and I at AGOS….. It will be a ton of fun! For those who are closer, this is a special weekend, so come learn how to make beautiful images of your hand crafted work!
