After a blur of efficient demo, things are beginning to be built back up.   Spackling has commenced and paint options are being considered. There are so many shades of white, it is important to get just the right shade. Warm but not too warm. Inviting but neutral...

The wet area was surveyed by both our dyeing guru and our screen printing expert. It is beginning to take shape, at least in my head. A nook for a stackable washer/dryer has been framed out. Air drying mechanisms are being considered. Wednesday when the sun finally poked itself out from the dreary clouds, I recognized that the natural light in the space is quite wonderful. Soft and reflected, it is just another positive element of this location.

Hope all had enjoyable fourth of July celebrations!  Ours was spent on the patio with friends eating, drinking and watching fireworks. While it was murderously hot, it was a perfect distraction from build out. But now it is back to work...
